Ba'ja Neolithic Project - Project Webpages (بعجة في العصر الحجري الحديث)

The Ba'ja Neolithic Project webpages are hosted on the http://www.exoriente.org/ website and present the general aims of the project as well as summaries of the excavation seasons from 1997 to 2016, with photographs, plans, and a list of publications on the site. The project investigates the Late Pre-Prottery Neolithic site if Ba'ja, north of Petra as a case-study in the wider process of Neolithization in the Near East. It is a collaboration between the Berlin Free University, the University of Cologne, the University of Leipzig, the Technical University of Berlin, the Carsten Niebuhr Institute, Copenhagen University, the German Protestant Institute of Archaeology and the Department of Antiquities of Jordan.
