Eastern Jafr Joint Archaeological Project (EJP) / Qulban Beni Murra - Project Webpages (المشروع الأثري شرق منطقة الجفر)

The Eastern Jafr Joint Archaeological Project webpages are hosted on the http://www.exoriente.org/ website and present the general aims of the project as well as summaries of the excavation seasons from 2006 to 2011, with photographs, plans, and a video, as well as a list of publications on the sites. The EJP is a collaborative project between the Mu‘tah University, Kerak and ex Oriente at Free University of Berlin. It is a survey project tracking climate changes in this arid region via evidence for human occupation, particularly pastoralism, at the sites of Qulban Beni Murra (Biyar Beni Murra), Wadi as-Sahab al-Asmar, and Wadi al-Abyad.
