Jordanian Royal Heritage, Religious Heritage (التراث الديني)

The Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) launched the Kingdom’s official Royal Heritage website in 2019. The website, run by the RHC’s Royal Heritage Department, was designed to introduce users to the Kingdom’s heritage projects and their components within the fields of politics, culture, religion, social, development and the military. Hashemite Religious Heritage focuses on the religious and historical legitimacy of the Hashemite. This heritage includes information on the Hashemite Custodianship over Jerusalem’s Muslim and Christian holy sites, the reconstruction of the shrines of the Prophets and Sahaba, the construction of museums such as the Prophet Mohammad museum, and the construction of mosques such as the Sharif Al-Hussein Bin Ali Mosque, Al-Hussaini Mosque, King Abdullah I Mosque and King Hussein Mosque.
