The publication of the conference proceedings closes the activities of the 'Early Petra' project. It contains several papers covering the history of Petra from the Iron Age to the Byzantine period and focusing on both archaeological features (mostly funerary and military monuments) and scientific data analysis (radiocarbon dates and GIS).
