Zamancom ("your past") is a website that was founded in 2014 by the anthropologist Ahmad Abu Khalil. He aspires to create the “largest and most vibrant” Jordanian archive to tell the story of Jordan by getting to know the beginnings of many ideas, projects, institutions, individuals and groups. Zamancom depends on various political, economic and social archive materials, mainly media reports, old people’s stories and books, that document significant events with a focus on the period between the start of the 20th century and the beginning of the 1980s.
